Who remembers the Kiwi Cup?
The Kiwi Cup, a companion trophy to the Kiwi Spur, was awarded to the Junior Household Cavalryman or Junior Guardsman in the Passing Out Intake whose personal turnout had been consistently of the highest standard during his training at the Guards Depot.
The Kiwi Cup remained on permanent display at the Guards Depot, and the winner received an inscribed wristwatch.
Both trophies were of Sterling Silver, featuring bases ridged vertically with gilt to throw relief to the winners names.
