(video) Join the NAAFI, official recruiting film, 1942.
Way back in 1942 there was this little gem, found in the archives of The British Pathe.
The video shows the Navy, Army and Air Force in action (NAAFI stands for Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes).
Members of the Regiments cram into the dinner queue whilst being served by members of the NAAFI Staff ………… who also get invited to the dance (nothing changes much lol).
We then move to the dance, where the NAAFI staff try to encourage the ‘viewer’ to join. A classic video.
